Well written, but the story feels too much like a dry account of events. It's nice to have some icing on a cake, but when there's so much icing you can't see what's underneath, you get a tad apprehensive to eat the cake.
Here, what's been written so far, is the icing on a cake, but sadly, the cake is missing.
Story would have been far-out if we would be able to get a more intimate glimpse inside of Mella's head, instead of getting the facts of what's being done to her.
Molly Dunleavy shows promise as a writer, all we have to do is urge her to read a couple of psychology books.
