I was a bit torn on this number rating. Did it deserve an 8 or a 9? Your writing style needs a bit of polish. Certain passages were a bit halting. There were also a few mistakes that should have been edited out. However, the story was told in a manner that worked very well. Your telling allowed me to feel the moment; visualize it. I could hear much of the music and I knew exactly how he was feeling - how he felt about the woman.
Really, this was quite good. (8/10)
