well written story...thought provokeing handling of subs...a bit outside my "comfort" I will read it again though :) (7/10)

- Thank you, 2licks! Whoever said erotica / porn should be comfortable -giggles- ! Seriously, I tried to portray Mary-Beth as someone who wants to be made a slave out of and finds a willing set of accomplices in the Black family she is drawn to (they want to have a slave as badly as she wants to become one); too bad she had to draw her daughter into it, for which she suffers of course. I'm really tempted by LaToya's suggestion of writing a companion piece from Laura's point of view - perhaps a transcribed tape that comes to light? But at present I'm still seeing everything from Mary-Beth's point of view... not too sure that woman has too many smarts, but she feels deeply. Which is the fate of many of us, I fear.

This was a very well writen story. While the story followed the life of the mother, I hope other parts will show the life of the daughter (8/10)

I found this story to be very good (although for the record specifying the age of the little girl might have been helpful in visualising her). Very good, though very sad. I was like on the verge of tears at the turning point of the story. Me:No! That's not cool! She's suffered enough! (8/10)

- Dear Master RJ. May I have many readers like you! I didn't know the codes for the bdsm library so I kept it vague. But you can work out her age from the other dates in the story: she is 12 at the start. Mary Beth makes herself younger at the end - who wouldn't?

- I'm glad my review went appreciated. o.o Actually that's a lot older than I thought she'd be...she sounded like...9 or 10. Thanks for clearing that up! Yes 12 would be Young in the story codes. I look forward to reading your future stories.

i think your writing skills are good and i liked the end of the story. i am just worry about stories (and not just those sexual in nature) that show blacks are more violent than whites. (7/10)

- ... yet people don't jump up and down about how white people are portrayed as being violent in many of the other stories on this site. It works both ways.

- Dear bisarah: I wanted very much to be able to portray both the black and white people as humans in a position of temptation. At the end Mary-Beth says as much. This is a sensitive topic, agreed.
