    | | Ok.. Nice story (or rather concept) but there's one breach of logic in your story that's sort of annoying..
Basically in a competition like the snuff marathon you have to have something that people are competing in like the slaves endurance and willpower and the torturers skills in braking that endurance and willpower and the trainers skills in strengthening it beforehand..
If you allow the torturers to kill the slaves without their consent their willpower, their ability to endure no longer matter all that much..
It's no longer an competition really.
The torturer might as well just take a gun and shoot the snuffettes as soon as everything goes if the speed of death is all that matter..
That detail sort of was a turnoff for me.. (8/10)

    | | I will say this first... I prefer a story to actually have a story. This tale seems to follow the pattern of sports news coverage, which may be the point, but there is no reason for us to care about the characters. On the other hand, it was very imaginative and a lot of fun to read, which is the point of fantasy in the first place. If you are looking for something to keep you excited while you make use of your bedroom toys, this will do the job. (8/10)

(Edit) (Oct 25, 2004)You are quite correct. This was not a "Story" inthe sense of having characters you should care
about. It was meant to follow sportscasts, and was
inspired by watching the recent coverage of the
Olympic games. It was a series of vignettes and
throwaway fantasies. So if you enjoyed it in that
spirit, then I am pleased. Thank you for your
 feedback, it is much appreciated.

    | | Quite good. Your writing is quite good, and I must compliment you on your editing as well - I didn't spot a single spelling error. Further, you managed to hit the "American Sports Commentator" style dead on, with just enough over-the-top extremity to raise a smile at the spoofishness. A great read! (9/10)

(Edit) (Oct 16, 2004)Gee! No spelling errors! ;) But seriously, thankyou for your kind words. :) I keep setting out to
write "non-spoofish" stories, but they go their
own way. And so it goes...
