Not a bad premise, but bouncing over the details (while it makes the story move along) loses readers. They already know all the methods and such, they want you to provide a rich description, heavy on details, and slow it down some. Readers don't want "quickies".
There's promise there. Please keep on posting; looking forward to it! (6/10)

- Thank you for the time you spent reviewing my story, it is appreciated. I'll see what I can do about adding some more local color in future installments. Since you are the only one who has bothered to comment, I question your choice of the word "readers", as well as the observation that the "readers" don't want "quickies". I've got a lot of data that says they do.
