        I agree with Marcus but believe that this little bit of atmospheric fiction rates a very good.  I agree that it seems to be the work of a novice who show definite talent.  A bit disappointed not to have seen any further fiction from this author on this site since this was written.  I think that this writer has a talent for the dark side. (8/10)

        A reasonable effort, conjuring up some atmosphere. The author is obviously literate and makes a good attempt, but I suspect she is a novice at this style of writing. Some of the phrasing was stilted and awkward (possibly over- ambitious!) yet at other times quite strong and generally enjoyable.  (6/10)
